 is the method to convert information into secret code that hides the information's true meaning. There are two main types of data encryption;  asymmetric encryption, also known as public-key encryption, and symmetric encryption. Modern encryption algorithms providing confidentiality and drive key security initiatives including authentication, integrity, and non-repudiation, has replaced the outdated data encryption standard (DES)
